OUR GOALS & PROGRESS

To meet our goals across NCIL's five year grant, we are tracking our progress through products, services and reach.

OUR GOALS

Goals

We will achieve our mission through these five overall goals:

  • Goal 1: Identify or develop free or low-cost evidence-based assessment tools for identifying students with or at risk for literacy-related disabilities.

  • Goal 2: Identify evidence-based literacy instruction, strategies, and accommodations, including assistive technology, designed to meet the specific needs of students with or at risk for literacy-related disabilities.

  • Goal 3: Provide families of students with or at risk for literacy-related disabilities information to assist such students.

  • Goal 4: Identify or develop evidence-based professional development for teachers, paraprofessionals, principals, other school leaders, and specialized instructional support personnel.

  • Goal 5: Disseminate the products to regionally diverse SEAs, REAs, LEAs, and schools.
